Is your garage a cluttered mess? Ryobi’s newest expansion to their Link System is here to save the day – check it out now!

Ryobi has revealed new additions to its Link system, including a steel wall cabinet, wall-mounted shelves, a cooler, and tool bags. These products are expected to launch in Summer 2023, following the previously announced toolboxes and organizers set to launch in early 2023.

  1. Ryobi Link Wall Mounted Cabinet (STM405)

The upcoming wall-mounted steel cabinet in Ryobi’s Link system is an exciting addition, boasting a sturdy 21 gauge steel body capable of holding up to 200 lbs when mounted directly to wood studs. When mounted to Ryobi Link wall rails, it can support up to 120 lbs.

In addition to its weight capacity, the wall-mounted steel cabinet in Ryobi’s Link system comes with a host of convenient features, such as an adjustable shelf, power cord access, magnetic door closure, and a secure locking point for a padlock or similar security measure.

Following is an inside-look picture for those wondering how the wall-mounted steel cabinet in Ryobi’s Link system mounts to the wall rails. It’s worth noting that assembly is required for this cabinet, which measures 26″ x 24″ x 13″.

Expected Price: $169

Ryobi Link Modular Shelving Bracket (STM460)

Key to the new shelving system in Ryobi’s Link system is a rail-compatible bracket that enables seamless integration with other Link products. With a weight capacity of 25 pounds per bracket, these supports facilitate continuous shelving runs, as we’ll explore below.

To further enhance the functionality of the shelving brackets in Ryobi’s Link system, they come equipped with a material retention tab. This handy feature lets users keep items securely on the shelves.

Another benefit of the material retention tab on Ryobi’s Link system shelving brackets is that it provides a practical storage solution for items such as PVC, dowels, and rods, preventing them from rolling off the shelves.

As a testament to their versatility, Ryobi’s Link system shelving brackets can also hold short lengths of lumber in addition to their main function.

Expected Price: $11.97 each

Ryobi Link 21-inch Solid Shelf (STM461)

The shelving system is modular. Add a pair of shelving brackets and this 21″ solid shelf, and you have a flat storage solution that can support up to 50 pounds.

As mentioned, the shelves can be connected side by side seamlessly and modularly. One shelf requires two brackets, and two shelves need three. This appears to be why the shelf brackets are sold individually rather than in pairs.

According to Ryobi, the solid shelf in their Link system shelving unit is designed with practicality, featuring a drip tray to catch any spills or messes. The shelf is also raised above the Link system cleats, providing ample space underneath to accommodate hooks or other accessories.

Product Dimensions: 21.5″ x 12″ x 1.2″

Expected Price: $19.97

Ryobi Link 21-inch Wire Shelf (STM462)

In addition to the solid shelf, Ryobi’s Link system also includes a wire shelf option with a weight capacity of 50 pounds. The wire design provides enhanced ventilation for items stored on the shelf. Like the solid shelf, the wire shelf allows easy hook access underneath.

Thanks to the rail-compatible bracket system in Ryobi’s Link system, the wire shelves can be positioned side by side seamlessly, making it easy to create a customized shelving unit that perfectly fits your needs. The wire shelves themselves measure 21″ x 12″ x 1″.

Expected Price: $14.97

Ryobi Link 17-inch Soft-Sided Cooler (STM604)

For those needing a cooler for their outdoor adventures, Ryobi’s Link system now includes a 24-can cooler with a 24-hour ice retention capability. The cooler boasts several useful features, such as three exterior pockets, an insulated lid pocket, a padded shoulder strap, and a sweat-proof design.

What’s more, the cooler is stackable, making it a perfect addition to Ryobi’s Link toolboxes and mobile storage products.

Expected Price: $59.97

Ryobi Link 17-inch Tool Bag (STM601)

Alongside the cooler, Ryobi’s upcoming Link system expansion will include two new tool bags connecting to the tops of Link mobile storage products. The 17″ tool bag boasts a 60-pound load rating and offers 39 pockets for efficient organization, with pockets made from durable 1680D material.

Ryobi’s new 17″ tool bag includes several useful features such as a hard side pocket for extra protection, an adjustable divider, integrated level straps, and a tape measure clip. These features make it easier to organize your tools and ensure they stay secure during transport.

The 17″ tool bag also features a U-shaped zippered opening, allowing maximum storage capacity and user convenience. Additionally, the internal divider has a looped handle and can be removed, allowing users to grab just a few tools quickly if needed. This feature makes it easy to access your devices on the go and ensures you can quickly find what you need without digging through the entire bag.

Expected Price: $74.97

Ryobi Link 17-inch Tool Tote Bag (STM602)

The tool tote is similar to the 17″ tool bag but with an open top compartment for easy access to your tools. Like the tool bag and cooler, the tool tote bag is 17″ deep and can be connected to the tops of Ryobi Link tool boxes and other mobile storage products.

Two tool totes can be connected side by side, but it’s important not to overstuff the side pockets. With its open-top compartment, a tool tote is a great option for those needing to grab and use their tools quickly.

The Ryobi Link tool tote bag boasts an impressive 60-pound weight capacity, with 42 pockets to keep your tools organized. The hard side pocket provides extra protection, while the level straps and tape measure clip keep everything in place.

The tote also features a large pivoting handle and a padded shoulder strap for comfortable carrying. And like the other Link system products, it can be connected to the tops of Ryobi’s toolboxes and mobile storage units.

Note:The tools are expected to launch in Summer 2023, according to the original source.
