Ryobi recently introduced a new and improved 18V cordless power tool, the PCL465 model, a 10″ variable speed random orbit buffer.

As indicated in some product images, the cordless buffer is specifically crafted to polish and buff extensive surfaces like boats, cars, trucks, and surfboards. It is packaged with a buffing pad and an applicator bonnet.

The cordless buffer is furnished with a variable speed dial and can attain speeds ranging from 2,000 to 3,600 OPM (orbits per minute). According to Ryobi, you can commence the buffer at a slower pace for precise distribution of polishing compound or wax. Subsequently, elevate the speed to achieve a seamless and refined finish.
The buffer features a multi-grip handle and a vertical D-handle, ensuring ease and control.
- 10″ pad size
- 2,000 – 3,600 OPM
- Random orbit pattern
- Up to 2-1/2 hours runtime on a single charge
- Multi-grip handle

The updated buffer is being offered in two variants: tool-only (PCL465B) and kit (PCL465K1), with the latter including a 4Ah battery and charger. The tool-only option costs $50, while the kit version is priced at $119. Both options are currently available for purchase solely at Home Depot.
